Do you have a signature look? I don't ,but I want one. What about you? Is there something that is just SO YOU that you are known for? Think Sally Jesse Raphael and those red glasses, Donald Trump and that hair! For so long I have just made do with clothes that just simply fit. No real thought to color and style. I have owned just a few pairs of earrings and shoes, none that are really me that I love. They were cheap and worked. Lot's of black... basic and so very slimming. Good grief. Black is wonderful is you love black. I like black. I LOVE pink. I have decided I need a wardrobe of pink and girly things! That is ME. Let me know about your "signature" look!
I have to ponder this one...do converse sneakers count? Although those aren't very pretty.

ReplyDeleteI am the same way! No signature look for me although I do have "signature" shoes ... black and brown Dansko clogs all winter, and black and brown Bjorn sandals all summer! OY VAY! I need to feminize myself too!!!
ReplyDeleteI use to ! Heels ... when I was in corporate, if a business associate did not recall me by name or company .. they would say "you know, the gal with the nice heels" ...and people knew whom they spoke of.

I'm cardigan sweaters with a pretty pin, chunky clogs, cotton skirts and a stack of aprons. I guess that's me in a nutshell these days. Happy relaxed easy breezy. :)

ReplyDeleteI guess my hair. I have that long hair but the color ... I am blonde but it bleaches out white in sunlight .. I live where the sun shines almost every day of the year.
I am a head full of long white hair. .. dressed in black :)

ReplyDeleteHi! :-) My "signature look" is being uniquely me. I dress in my own style. {I've even worn purple & red a couple of times;even when I wasn't at the age of the Red Hat Society. Much less before I even heard of the group.} I've been comfortable wearing cowboy boots for a few years now; and with whatever the outfit is. p.s. I've enjoyed your blog so far. I'm just now learning how to comment, etc. :)
ReplyDeleteAccessories! I love big watches with lots of different bangles. I have a beautiful cotton scarf with lots of colors (goes with everything). If I don't wear the braclets and scraf, I layer necklaces and wear big earrings.

Jeans and a plain top are my wardrobe staple.
I go to clients so don't have to change clothes a lot like going to an office.
